Comments: I’m a 70 year old male, I was scared stiff, I had a 3 level lamanectomy,I read all of the negative stuff on the internet, boy was I wrong Dr Venezia explained everything to me , I’m now 7 weeks out from my surgery, I walk every day around 3miles now, I would highly recommend this dr , he has a great manners, he listens to your concerns, my advice is don’t look at the internet, leave it in this drs hands you won’t be disappointed, my surgery was November 7th 2022 . Just thought I would share my progress it is now February 15th 2023, I’m still improving daily, sure I’ve had a few aches and pains my physical therapist says my pain is muscular and nothing to do with my surgery, I’m back to riding my bike again around 10-15 miles a day usually around 6 days a week, I’m walking better, overall I think it’s the best decision I made to have the surgery, as i stated before Dr Venezia is a very caring Dr, who really listen to me . I’m very grateful to have had the choice to choose him fr my surgery. Just thought I would give a 6 month out from my surgery, I have had some leg and lower back pain that has returned, not sure what it is, also not to worried about it, I would still have had the surgery, just was a little surprised, the dr told me from day 1 , the back issues may not go away, I just need to figure out how to get more improvement in my legs. I just tell myself any improvement is a improvement it ., I’ll try to update after my year in November. Well better late than never, here’s my update 2 and 1/2 years, I have some nite time leg discomfort, usually wake up and have terrible I call them Charlie horses, I’m still very thankful I had the surgery, not sure what to do about my condition just trying to enjoy life with my wife, today’s date is may 11 2025, if I feel any more news I will let you all know.
